We offer a special program designed for your children. We are happy to have the privilege of caring for them!
All of those who work with our children are back ground checked and are employees of the church, to promote the safety of all participating and for peace of mind.
Check-In/Out: So that your children may benefit from the entire program, we ask that they arrive at their class between 8:50 am and 9:10 am. Please pick them up immediately after the meeting at 11:30 am. Moms must remain on the premises while their children are in our children's program.
Labeling: Please label your children’s blankets, bottle, sippy cups, pacifiers, coats, etc. We ask that you do not bring toys from home. We've got loads of fun in store for them.
Snacks: We provide a snack during each meeting.
Infants: We get that figuring things out with a newborn is a whole new routine. Your baby is welcome to be registered for our nursery or he/she may stay with you. After they reach four months, we encourage babies to be cared for in the nursery, as they more space to move and play. You are always welcome to bring your kiddo in to breastfeed.
Visitor Policy: Primarily for security reasons, please note that refresh has a “no visitor” policy for both the meetings and for the children's program. If you know someone interested in learning more about our group, please contact one of the coordinators. We welcome new folks, but we need completed registration forms
Illness: Our teachers reserve the right to refuse a child they feel is ill. If your child becomes ill while in our care, you will be notified. Please do not bring your child if he/she has any of the following symptoms:
• A cold or symptoms of a cold such as a profuse runny nose, cough or sneezing*
• Fever (or has had one in the last 24 hours)
• Suspicious rash
• Flu symptoms, including: stomachache, headache, diarrhea or vomiting
*If your child suffers from a chronic condition such as allergies and always has a clear runny nose, please obtain a doctor's note so we can permit him/her to attend. We appreciate your cooperation in seeing that your child is cared for in a healthy and safe environment.
A good rule of thumb, if another child had the symptoms your child has, would you be concerned about them catching it?
Questions or Concerns: If you have any questions or concerns about the children's program, please contact our Refresh kids' coordinator, Natalia Dover at firstname.lastname@example.org.
